Alonzo Bright
SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTANT
Alonzo Bright is a Senior Supply Chain Consultant with CIBER, Inc. based out of Detroit with more than 16 years of experience in Supply Chain Management. As a consultant with CIBER, Alonzo has helped customers determine operational footprint and capabilities changes needed to support business strategies. He has accomplished this as a part of supply chain network design and optimization projects. Also at CIBER, he played a key role in the facilitation and implementation of lean work processes used to implement an inventory management solution for more than 2500 retail locations. Understanding product and business demand patterns and leveraging the best forecasting algorithms and tools to create forecasts that support all levels of the business is his expertise. Prior to joining CIBER, Alonzo had an eight (8) year track record of improving forecast and budget accuracy in three different businesses using a variety of forecasting software tools. He has also been intimately involved in S&OP processes at BASF, Delphi Automotive Systems and FCI Automotive in the roles played by Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning and Inventory Management. In these roles he has collaborated with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution and Transportation. Alonzo also worked for Kmart Corporation in the roles of Transportation Analyst and Financial Analyst, has a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and holds the APICS CPIM (Certified in Production Inventory Management) certification.

I’m a forty something year old man overflowing with curiosity to the point that I have been planning a trip to the local mall for the last five days. I’ll tell my buddy’s that I’m headed to Best Buy, but in reality I’m infatuated with teen fashion retailer Aéropostale. Before you alert authorities, let me explain.
