Mike Watschke is the Practice Director of Oracle BI and EPM at CIBER. Prior to joining CIBER, Mike was a Director of BI in Oracle’s EPM and BI Global Business Unit. Mike has 10+ years of BI and analytics experience in various industries, with his professional career in this capacity beginning with PeopleSoft in 2001. Mike is a regular speaker on analytics and performance management at Oracle and CIBER events, industry and application conferences, and regional user groups.

Knowing that there are so many moving parts, solution components, and acquired systems within the Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) and Performance Management (PM) suite of products, it’s no wonder there is confusion in the marketplace. This article is the first in a series where I’ll help break down the strategy for these solutions and speak to the synergies and integration use-cases amongst them.
