Timothy Hornung is a Supply Chain Consultant with CIBER, Inc. based out of Detroit. He brings with him 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management. Timothy’s specialties include Procurement and Sourcing Optimization, Vendor Managed Inventory Program Implementations, Quantitative Analytics, and Supply Chain Reinvention / Inventory Management. Prior to joining CIBER, Timothy worked for CMS Energy and Emerson Network Power specializing in sourcing and procurement. His experiences in Forecasting, Replenishment, Analytics, Vendor Managed Inventory, Sourcing, and Procurement enable him to design and cultivate supply chain efficiencies in SKU intensive environments. I have been looking everywhere for the latest, greatest Smartphone on the market, calling Best Buy everyday twice a day (they get afternoon shipments too) and looking online. The new Smartphone I want just does not seem to exist and no one has the same answer on the reason behind it. I don't want to jump over to "The Trendy Smartphone" which has been controlling the market since 2007 at all, but it is the next best thing in my opinion and I can get one within a couple days. The manufacturer won't have any until September, Best Buy claims to get a couple in per week that go to their extensive wait list and the retail outlets are the same. Does anyone hav...
